Commissions, Workshops, and Teaching Experience:

  • Tej Art Outreach- I run a self-initiated, crowdfunded community art outreach program where I engage with terminally ill children through art. Since 2019.
  • Class Art Studio- Ran an independent art studio teaching art to adults & children in Pune, India. 2015-2018.
  • FAD International- Head of Fine Art department and associate lecturer Photography department. Pune India. Aug 2011-Nov 2012.
  • My Town, Home Town- Artist in residence at Ellon, to deliver a community-based project for Aberdeenshire Council. Jan- Feb 2007.
  • Northumbria University- visiting lecturer in the Sculpture department at Northumbria University, Newcastle Upon Tyne, 2006-2007. Conducted site specific art workshops at Exhibition Park among other weekly thematic workshops and contributed to the end of year assessment.
  • Indian Miniature Painting workshop- Conducted a 5 day workshop at Kalapremi, Stanley in liaison with Hatton
    Gallery, Newcastle, for 300 school children from Durham County, UK Sept 2006.
  • Transparency- Workshop with the Angelou Centre (for women from culturally diverse backgrounds), Newcastle Upon Tyne, April 2006.
  • Next stop Byker- A commission by Newcastle city council and Nexus, which involved workshops with the residents of Margaret Collins House, to create an installation and photographic work of art for Byker Metro station, Newcastle Upon Tyne, July-October 2005. Display Feb 2006.
  • Love Difference, workshop by the Pistolleto Foundation for the 50th International Venice Biennale, Aug 2003.
